UK, UK, United Kingdom Ludic Full time

Role: Scrum Master / Project Manager - Software Development (Desktop & Mobile)

Location: Remote UK

About Ludic

Ludic is a global consulting and design business dedicated to empowering organizations to make impactful decisions, implement change, and transform at scale. We partner with our clients throughout their transformation journeys—from strategic alignment and implementation to unlocking the full potential of their teams. Our proprietary software, SmartLab, is integral to delivering innovative projects, including learning experiences and events.

About the Role

Ludic is seeking an experienced Project Manager and Scrum Master to oversee software development projects for both desktop and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless agile sprint management, task planning, coordination of the development team and high-quality output on time and on budget. This role is pivotal in supporting Ludic’s software roadmap and collaborating closely with the Director of Digital and a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, track, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of development projects.
  • Agile Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, fostering an agile environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to align project priorities, resolve blockers, and streamline workflows.
  • Timeline & Effort Estimation: Collaborate with developers to assess the time and resources required for project tasks, ensuring realistic planning and goal-setting.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop testing plans and oversee QA processes to ensure high-quality product releases. Coordinate testing resources, perform initial testing, and support team members in implementing improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Provide clear, transparent reporting and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within the development cycle, implementing best practices to enhance team efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in a project management or Scrum Master role within a tech or software development environment, ideally with hands-on experience in agile methodologies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development practices, frameworks (e.g. PHP, Laravel, Codeigniter) and workflows, with enough technical insight to discuss timelines and project feasibility with developers (coding experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent agile/project management certification preferred.
  • Skills: Proven experience in Scrum processes and software development project management, strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday, Github) and familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.

What We Offer

  • Flexible, remote-first work environment with opportunities for in-person collaboration
  • Professional development opportunities and training support
  • Inclusive, collaborative team culture with a focus on innovation and growth
  • Salary between £40-50k per annum dependant on experience.

By joining Ludic, you’ll contribute to innovative projects that drive meaningful transformation for our clients worldwide. As part of our global and remote team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Please apply with your CV. Thank you.
