Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in Quality Assurance management across agile projects, with a focus on implementing and enforcing processes that ensure exceptional quality.
  • Strong leadership in establishing best practices for QA strategies, tools, and processes across functional and non-functional testing environments.
  • Proven track record in driving agile practices, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to QA standards.
  • Technical proficiency in manual and automated testing within continuous delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to align with stakeholders and enforce QA procedures effectively.
  • Expertise in Risk Management, including Risk Identification and Risk-Based Testing methodologies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring QA teams, promoting high-quality agile practices.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to handle pressure while upholding quality standards.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, team motivation, and talent recognition to optimize team performance.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and Enforce QA Processes: Develop and maintain quality assurance processes to drive high-quality, agile development across teams.
  • Agile Development Practices: Ensure QA activities align with agile principles, prioritizing iterative testing and rapid feedback.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, and Tools to ensure consistent QA standards.
  • Process Monitoring and Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve QA processes, ensuring strict adherence to procedures.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to align QA vision and enforce best practices.
  • Test Automation Leadership: Oversee automation projects, offering technical guidance to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Training and Mentorship: Mentor QA team members to enhance their technical skills and adherence to QA standards.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Present QA metrics to stakeholders, offering insights into process adherence and quality outcomes.
  • Escalation Management: Serve as the escalation point for QA issues, ensuring swift resolution and enforcement of QA policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, development managers, and scrum masters to ensure QA strategies support organizational goals while aligning with agile methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by supporting QA staff with training and development opportunities.
