Langham Recruitment is recruiting exclusively for a rapidly growing collaboration between a system integrator and two major international automotive OEMs. An exciting new requirement has arisen for a Simulation Engineer to be instrumental in building a brand-new lab and developing the software for high-spec simulated driving rigs. This is a unique opportunity for someone with vehicle simulation experience to spearhead a project with substantial international funding.


Key Requirements:

  • Develop, implement, and manage SiL test systems for various vehicle control systems
  • Implement control algorithms and software components provided by Tier 1 suppliers into SiL environments.
  • Run SiL simulations to validate control software and strategies under various conditions
  • Work closely with other engineers, including simulation and HiL specialists, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive testing.


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and managing SiL systems for chassis control systems (Brake, Steering, Suspension and Powertrain).
  • Proven track record of working with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, IPG CarMaker, or similar.
  • Experience with vehicle network simulation and analysis tools such as CANoe,
  • Experience with real-time simulation, model-based design, and control system development
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
