Ideal Health are a leading digital health consultancy, supporting healthcare organisations at all stages of their digital journey from strategy and planning, through to business case, mobilisation, implementation and optimisation. As we are undergoing rapid growth, we are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our team.


The role will be a member of the management team, with responsibility for the following areas,


Project Management Oversight:

To ensure that projects are scoped, set up and managed effectively from initiation to completion. This involves overseeing project leads and project teams, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.


Resource Allocation:

In collaboration with the resource team, effectively allocating resources for project success. Selecting the best people for the projects, based on an understanding of team members’ skills and expertise. This involves balancing workload, skill sets, and project requirements. Building a pool of talent.


Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a key aspect of the role. Acting as a liaison between the client and the delivery team, ensuring that client expectations are met and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the project.


Risk Management:

Identifying and mitigating risks is inherent to project management. You must have a keen eye for potential risks that could impact project timelines or deliverables. Implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans to navigate uncertainties effectively.


Quality Assurance:

Maintaining a high standard of quality in project deliverables is critical. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes to ensure that all work meets or exceeds client expectations.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Implementing performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking project progress. You will oversee the creation and analysis of reports that provide insights into project performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.


Process Improvement:

Continuously improving delivery processes is vital for staying competitive and meeting evolving client needs. You will identify areas for process optimisation and work collaboratively with teams to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Client engagement

In collaboration with the client engagement team, you will meet clients to understand their goals and advise on solutions that would address their requirements.


We are looking for an ambitious individual with broad digital health knowledge at a senior level, across acute and other care settings. Ideally you will have,

  • Broad experience across a range of areas within digital health
  • Experience of a range of digital health systems, in particular EPR
  • Project and programme management experience
  • Commercial experience within digital health
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • A structured approach with the ability to think and plan tactically and creatively and to prioritise work programs in the face of competing demands
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to inspire and lead teams is paramount, instilling confidence, fostering collaboration, and providing clear direction to achieve project goals.
