Junior Category Manager – Top4 Grocery

The role:

Reporting into the Category Manager, this pivotal position will take the lead with a Top4 Grocery customer whilst also having responsible for two other key retailers and deliver category-based stories turning insight into action. Working with market data, you will present a compelling brand story to the customer and the wider internal team whilst having the influential skills to deal with possible objections both from internally or the customer.


You:

  • Category Management or Market Research experience working for/with FMCG brands
  • Ability to identify gaps in category and use insights and convert into development by delivery strong recommendations
  • Working knowledge category data platforms such as IRI, Kantar or Nielsen
  • Excellent presentation skills and an accurate eye for detail
  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to influence through using category data
  • Must be comfortable with working 2 days within the Berkshire region and 3 days from home


This role would suit a Category Executive looking for more responsibility whilst working for a #1 UK brand. Candidates will also be considered from a Marketing/Data Research background with experience of working with FMCG brands.
