Job Title: Junior Category Manager

We are seeking a talented Junior Category Manager to join our team at Mackenzie Jones. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving category growth and profitability across our global food business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Category Lead for Tesco and the broader commercial teams to deliver long-term sustainable growth.
  • Own and develop internal reports and tools to support category insights and decision-making.
  • Manage the iHub to make category insights accessible to the wider sales and marketing team.
  • Work closely with customers across buying and category teams to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, brand, shopper marketing, demand planning, and finance to drive category growth.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of category management experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Ability to work with complex data and develop compelling stories to influence others.
  • Experience in building powerful partnerships at all levels and communicating effectively both internally and externally.
  • Nimble and able to manage ambiguity to drive results at pace.
  • Resilience in the face of obstacles and ability to work under pressure.
