Category Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Development Manager to join our team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE). As a key member of our Category Development and Shopper Marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our coffee category.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement category vision and strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver category goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored category plans.
- Monitor and analyze shopper behavior and market trends to inform category decisions.
- Deliver best-in-class category management for key customers, including Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, and Morrisons.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in category development, buying, or account management roles in FMCG.
- Deep knowledge of UK retail shoppers and customers in Top 4 grocery.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and navigate strategic consumer and brand strategy.
- Marketing literate with knowledge of information system tools (Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, Dunnhumby, etc.).
