Escape Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager for our client based in South Lanarkshire. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • HSE Support: Assist manufacturing and operational managers in all HSE aspects, including the reporting and resolution of accidents, incidents, and near misses. Conduct risk assessments and address regulatory changes, fostering a zero-accident culture.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company meets all regulatory and legislative requirements, including COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA submissions.
  • Audit Management: Oversee customer, third-party certification, and internal audits according to business systems. Ensure audits are conducted as planned, and non-conformances are addressed promptly.
  • KPI Reporting: Provide regular KPI updates for the management team, covering legal compliance and regulatory changes. Report monthly group measures to the QEHSE Director.
  • HSE Collaboration: Participate in monthly meetings and coordinate with internal HSE representatives from other sites.
  • New Product Support: Address HSE-related queries during the new product introduction process.
  • Additional Support: Provide any other HSE support as required.
