Marketing & BD Systems Manager


I’m pleased to be working with this leading law firm renowned for their exceptional breadth of practice, deep industry knowledge, and a collaborative global approach. They are keen to hire a dedicated M&BD Systems Manager to join their dynamic Marketing & Business Development team. This role involves managing a team of 4 to support, plan, and deliver marketing technology solutions for their Marketing & BD and legal professionals.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the M&BD Systems team, ensuring effective operational support and user assistance.
  • Oversee the provision of user support by the team, ensuring timely handling of day-to-day support tasks.


System Oversight:

  • Manage and maintain the firm’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system (InterAction), Email Marketing system (Concep), Experience Relationship Management (ERM) system (Introhive), Experience Management system (Foundation), and Alumni portal (People Path).
  • Ensure the systems are functioning optimally and meeting the needs of the users.
  • Define and execute an approach for improving data accuracy across all M&BD systems.


Training & Support:

  • Oversee and deliver end-user training for all M&BD systems to ensure users are proficient and confident in using the systems.


Project Management:

  • Plan, manage, and deliver projects aimed at enhancing the use of M&BD systems.
  • Identify and validate the need for new technology, creating a case for change when necessary.
  • Create clear and concise plans and documentation to support the CMO and Global Head of M&BD Operations and Systems in delivering on their commitments.


Vendor Relations:

  • Lead the relationship with vendors, alongside IT counterparts, to ensure effective support, upgrades, and contract renewals.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of M&BD Operations and Systems and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
  • Partner with stakeholders, project team members, users, vendors, and lawyers to deliver innovative solutions.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a law firm is highly desirable
  • Demonstrable experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, Credential Management, and Data Quality solutions.
  • Proficiency with InterAction CRM, Litera Concep, Introhive ERM, Litera Foundation, and People Path.
  • Previous line management experience.
