Outstanding opportunity for a CIMA or ACCA Qualified (or later stage active studier) Finance Business Partner to join a household name, prestigious business based in the Preston area. Working in a friendly, collaborative team of FBPs and Management Accountants - and mentored by an impressive Head of Finance - your remit will include:


  • Working as Finance Business Partner for your own business portfolio.
  • Interpreting and presenting Management information re financial performance.
  • Supporting the Senior Management Team, Budget Holders/Department heads with business decision making.
  • “What if” financial modelling for costs and scenario planning.
  • Financial appraisal of business cases, business change proposals and tender submissions.
  • Ensuring budget holders follow corporate financial strategy across all tactical and operational plans.
  • Supporting the monthly management accounts.
  • Providing timely and insightful variance analysis.
  • Supporting the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting processes.
  • Managing one Assistant Management Accountant/FBP.


Applicants will be CIMA or ACCA qualified or later stage Part Qualified, actively working towards achieving full qualification with a background in Management Accounting and Business Partnering. You will have excellent people skills and a track record of forging strong relationships with finance and non-finance staff up to board level. You will have a solid track record of reporting of financial information and interpreting/relaying results to both finance and non- finance managers in clear and concise way, tailored to fit the audience.
