What we’re looking for…

The Field Sales Strategy & Effectiveness Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our National Field Sales strategies; influencing the delivery of our core business objectives:

- Market Share growth within Symbol & Independent stores

- Enhancing Visibility & Availability within Multiple stores

- Growing distribution, visibility & availability within Out Of Home and Wholesale customers

The role holder will be tasked with developing the medium to long term objectives of the sales team to ensure we are reacting to market opportunities and learning from the team's current performance, to continue to win in this challenging market.

The role holder will be familiar with business operations and be responsible for the effectiveness of our systems and the tools the team uses in trade.

Your responsibilities will include...

As a Field Sales Strategy & Effectiveness Manager your responsibilities will include;

  • Work with the sales leadership team to develop and implement the medium to long term field sales strategy. This strategy should ensure our business objectives are delivered.
  • Regularly review the effectiveness of the operation, identifying, proposing and implementing process simplification and efficiencies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities which may impact the teams ability to deliver against their objectives and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Ensure core sales systems operate effectively and remain legally complaint at all times
  • Participate in strategy review, implementations and system upgrades in a structured and effective manner
  • Work collaboratively with sales, shopper marketing, brand and activation teams to ensure our field sales teams have the necessary tools to be effective in influencing our customers.
  • Own the direct marketing communication plan across our customer base building maximum influence through engaging and effective communications
  • Lead and develop a team of 2 Systems Executives and 2 Engagement Executives to ensure both systems and activation outputs deliver the business priorities.

What you’ll bring...

The successful candidate will have;

  • Experience in sales strategy planning
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to understand the processes that drive and maintain data collection
  • Significant project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in presenting both virtually and in person with an ability influence at all levels
  • Strong people management experience
  • High level of technical capability across G-Suite and Microsoft products
