Role Overview:


Metawin Games is looking for a dedicated Game Developer to build simulators and playable prototypes of casino slot type games. In your role you will be working closely with Head of Studio and game designers to implement new game ideas and features. The role offers a multitude of stimulating challenges, and each new project will require new, unique features and mechanics to be implemented and evaluated.


The role does not require previous experience building casino games and full training and mentoring will be given by experienced game designers and mathematicians.

The role offers long-term opportunities for growth and team building.


Metawin Games Studio is a new venture founded by business veterans with over 16 years of experience, responsible for some of the top-performing games in the industry over the last two decades. We set high standards and strive for excellence in every aspect of our products and the gaming experience. We are assembling a team of individuals who are genuinely passionate about their work and excel in their respective areas of expertise.


Role Description:


  • Collaborate with the studio head, game designers and mathematicians to create simulators, prototypes, and pay-out reports for casino slot type games.
  • Assist game designers in visualising their game ideas building prototypes.
  • Test, debug, streamline and optimise simulators across multiple games and projects.
  • Ensuring that simulations and documentation are up to the necessary standards and regulations for approval by regulatory authorities.
  • Verify that math models are correctly implemented on the server side and help game server developers in troubleshooting and finding discrepancies between model and server implementations.
  • With increased experience, develop and propose new and unique features for upcoming games.


The Candidate Must:


  • Have a university degree in computer science, preferably combined with additional courses in mathematics or mathematical statistics.
  • Intermediate to strong understanding of basic combinatorics, statistics, and probability theory.
  • Know how to create simulators using random number generators that can execute a large number of iterations as time efficiently as possible and produce structured simulation reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and computer languages such as Javascript, C/C++, Python etc.
  • Have a high ability of visualising and solving abstract and complex problems involving mathematics and programming.
  • Excellent in trouble shooting and finding the needle in the haystack when needed.
  • Be meticulous, proactive, and possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluent in English and communicate clearly and efficiently.
