Duties:
- Design and develop innovative gameplay and mechanics to ensure high quality and playability of the game.
- Collaborate closely with development and art teams to turn creative concepts into actual game content.
- Create detailed game design documentation, including game rules, system design, and user interface layouts.
- Participate in the testing and debugging process of the game, making improvements and optimizations based on feedback.
- Analyze market trends and player feedback to continuously improve game design and enhance player experience.
- Lead and mentor junior designers, ensuring efficient team operations and design quality.
- Where the job sits on the hierarchy chart: This role sits within the company's management team and directly reports to the company director.
Salary: range from £38,000 to £40,000
Skill, experience and qualification required:
Language:Proficiency in multiple languages, with a strong preference for candidates who are fluent in both English and an Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean).
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Qualifications: Professional qualifications in Game Design or related fields are preferred.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of game design experience, with AAA game development experience preferred.
Skills: Strong creative abilities, proficient in game design tools and software, with project management experience.
Other: Passionate about the gaming industry, willing to accept challenges, and continuously learn new technologies.
