We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our Digital Sales team who are disrupting the traditional sales process, by exploring new avenues and creating customer campaigns which have resulted in record-breaking wins for Olympus since the team’s creation in 2021.


We are looking for an adaptable, resilient, and driven person who is innovative in their approach. With this position being remote, you will need to have a high level of self-motivation and desire to succeed.


This is a fully remote – home based working position, however the ability to remain mobile is important. ​Travel will be infrequently required to attend internal team meetings in the Olympus HQ or other locations around the UK.​ Having a Driving License is therefore important.


What is the purpose of this role?


The purpose of the role is to remotely engage with healthcare stakeholders in public and private sector hospitals, using outbound sales methods with a view to generate awareness, interest, and ultimately qualified sales opportunities. These opportunities are then warmly handed to our Field Sales team, throughout our Medical Sales Division business units.


What are the key responsibilities of this position?


  • Find, engage, and build relationships with NHS & Private Hospital stakeholders to establish interest, awareness and develop well qualified sales opportunities for our healthcare product portfolio.
  • Using a ‘digital first’ methodology, actively drive the generation of a new sales pipeline which will ultimately convert to orders within the UK & Ireland region
  • You will be responsible for achieving an individual sales revenue target
  • Understanding customers' needs / pain points and recommending the right solutions from the Olympus product portfolio in play
  • Ownership of the ‘Approaching’ stage of the ISP (Integrated Sales Process)
  • Set-up and deliver product presentations and deep-dive explanations of technical products
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in other business units, field sales, marketing, and data analysis to drive the digital team's agenda forward
  • Maximise sales opportunities by up-selling and cross-selling to healthcare customers
  • Accurately and regularly updating our CRM system with detailed information following your customer interactions
  • Developing and maintaining a consistent flow of highly qualified new sales opportunities through effective customer and account management


What skills and qualifications are we looking for?


  • Degree educated
  • Ability to manage and sell a complex product portfolio, including technical products (industry leading training will be provided)
  • An engaging, dynamic, and positive attitude with a passion for helping our healthcare customers
  • Previous experience in a customer focused, or customer facing position is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively engage remotely with customers at all levels
  • Willingness and ability to use digital tools and remote selling techniques
  • To hold a full UK driving license
