Pan United is looking for a positive and enthusiastic account manager to help it serve its customers to the best of their ability. We are looking for a person who has a killer instinct and thrives on challenges, and has an amazing ability to build relationships with customers, while understanding the issues of being in the produce industry.


They must be solutions focussed, finding new ways to work the problems that come up and through a real focus on constant learning and development - which the company is happy to provide. One of the best values you can bring is an analytical mind set towards understanding what our customers really want and helping them find those solutions that are not particularly obvious.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively participating in strategy sessions
  • Managing customers, maintaining orders and endeavouring to improve relationships with every customer
  • Obtaining market intelligence about our key products from our customers.
  • Proactively analysing sales to customers and monitoring sales performance into them.
  • Managing customer complaints and rejections, aiming to improve corrective actions
  • Developing and reviewing corrective and preventative actions:
  • Driving Continuous Improvement across all levels of the organisation.
  • Managing communication with all relevant stakeholders
  • Training & Development for all members of the organisation


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related subject. (optional)
  • Some experience within the Fresh Produce Industry in a commercial capacity
  • Proficient in MS Office and sound understanding of retailer online specification systems
  • Proficiency in systems building - optional but highly valuable to the company.


Salary – Market rate, commensurate with experience
