Responsibilities and Duties:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in identity and access management, combined with extensive experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies.


Required Skills


Technical Expertise in IAM:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) IAM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID, including Azure Active Directory, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
  • Familiarity with identity governance, lifecycle management, and compliance requirements.


Quality Assurance and Testing Skills:

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IAM solutions.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Ability to perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on IAM systems.


Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects and issues.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide detailed and accurate defect reports.
  • Experience in using issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).


Technical and Scripting Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for test automation and environment setup.
  • Understanding of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.


Security and Compliance Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience in performing security testing, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.


Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly document test results, defect reports, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborative mindset to work in cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in SailPoint and/or Microsoft Entra ID are highly desirable.
  • QA certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in IAM-related projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for IAM projects using SailPoint ISC IAM and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of IAM solutions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
  • Automate test cases and maintain test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
