My client is a luxury beautiful independent hotel, set within gorgeous grounds, that offers elegance to all its clientele. They are looking for a hard-working experienced Reception Manager to lead and guide their reception team to provide a warm welcoming atmosphere to all guests


Due to the location of the hotel, the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transportation.


The duties and responsibilities of the Reception Manager will be:

  • Manage the check-in and check-out process to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest complaints and address special requests to maintain high service standards.
  • Train, schedule, and evaluate front desk staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee room reservations, billing, and payment processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments to coordinate services and resolve issues.


The ideal Reception Supervisor will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience in a Reception Supervisory or Management
  • Experience in handling reservations and billing, ideally having used the Opera System.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.


Salary: £32,500 per annum

Schedule: 5/7 days per week, 3 varied shift patterns in terms of Early, Mid, Late, 40 hours per week

Job-Type: Full-time, Permanent
