The Role


Are you a consultative sales professional who understands the Public Sector?


We are looking for an Account Executive with a passion for selling into the Public Sector. The Account Executive role will focus on strategic business development within the Public Sector, building strong relationships with Local Authorities and enhancing their decision-making process through their Software.


The Company


Our client is the go-to business for insights within the public sector. Their Insights platform supports Local Authorities across the UK to make better decisions.


About the Account Executive role


  • As Account Executive you will be responsible for the following.
  • Leading the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, strategically building relationships within the Public Sector.
  • Build and develop a strong pipeline of business in line with sales targets.
  • Lead product demonstrations with senior stakeholders within the Public Sector.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to build strong and robust relationships.
  • Working effectively with the wider teams in Lead Generation, Marketing and Customer Success.


What are they looking for?


  • Experience selling into the Public Sector, Software experience would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector and the procurement process.
  • Passion for the Public Sector.
  • Experience demonstrating Software or Product.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team player.
