The Role

We are looking for a Legal and Compliance Manager with a strong legal foundation, ideally

gained in a legal practice or corporate compliance environment. This critical role is responsible

for ensuring the commerciality and compliance of all contracts, bid, and tender documentation.

You will provide essential support by reviewing contracts, managing compliance processes, and

monitoring regulatory updates, enabling strategic, risk-aware decision-making within a fast-

paced, technology-driven environment.

of the team, you’ll engage in a blend of autonomous work and teamwork, ensuring that all legal

and compliance efforts align with the company& commercial objectives. This role is ideal for a proactive professional ready to shape compliance policies and contribute to sustainable mobility

solutions.


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially-minded Legal and Compliance Manager with

experience in legal and compliance management. You should be adept at reviewing contracts,

identifying compliance gaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all

documentation supports strategic and commercial goals. Strong communication skills and a

proactive approach to compliance are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

● Contract Review & Compliance Management: Review legal and commercial

contracts, bid documents, and tenders to ensure they meet organisational standards,

regulatory requirements, and support commercial goals.

● Collaboration with Legal Team: Work closely with the central legal team to implement

necessary updates and maintain compliant documentation.

● Legal Support for Commercial Activities: Partner with finance and commercial teams

to optimise contract value, ensuring alignment with strategic and commercial objectives.

● Customer Contract Governance: Oversee the management of customer contracts,

maintaining a compliant framework with well-organised, validated, and current

documentation.

● Policy Development & Implementation: Shape and enforce compliance policies to

uphold international standards and support operational compliance.

● Regulatory Monitoring & Advising: Stay updated on regulatory changes, advising

internal teams on impacts and making necessary policy adjustments.

● Detailed Reporting: Prepare legal and compliance reports for senior management,

offering insights that support commerciality and compliance.

● Process and Data Improvement: Enhance administrative processes, data

management, and reporting to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.

● Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify compliance gaps, recommending

solutions to strengthen the organisation's compliance framework.


Key Skills & Qualifications

● Legal and Compliance Expertise: Solid experience in legal and compliance

management, ideally gained within a legal practice or corporate setting, with a focus on

commercial contracts and compliance.

● Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related discipline,

demonstrating strong analytical and legal skills.

● Commercial Acumen: Ability to ensure contracts, bids, and tenders are commercially

sound and aligned with the organisation’s objectives.

● Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with international compliance requirements, especially

relevant to technology or infrastructure projects.

● Attention to Detail: A sharp analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying

compliance issues.

● Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills to convey legal and

compliance insights clearly to stakeholders.

● Organisational Ability: Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask

effectively, managing a diverse array of compliance responsibilities.
