Key Responsibilities

Business Development:


  • Identify, nurture, and secure large, complex deals throughout the sales process.
  • Acquire new public sector deals and engagements aligned with company offerings.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop new opportunities with international clients.


Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay updated on emerging market trends, pricing, and government actions impacting our client’s solutions in the assigned vertical.
  • Assess market conditions and competitor data to position our client as the top choice for the public sector.
  • Research target markets, identifying key decision-makers to foster relationships for business growth in the public sector.


Sales Execution:

  • Initiate and develop sales opportunities across Europe in the public sector, achieving business and personal sales targets.
  • Drive timely and accurate sales activities, ensuring optimal deal execution, project management, and client satisfaction.
  • Present persuasive proposals and presentations, positioning our client as the preferred option for strategic business partnerships.
  • Navigate the complex public sector landscape with multiple stakeholders, aiming to close opportunities to the mutual satisfaction of all parties.


Internal Collaboration:

  • Gather, analyze, and update prospect information, providing internal reports to management and relevant teams.
  • Plan internal resources to support information gathering and collaborate with departments for accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Work closely with business development, operations, technology, legal, and finance teams, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to project delivery.


Essential Experience:

  • Highly experienced in business development and/or direct sales
  • In-depth knowledge in areas such as software, process automation, technology-enabled process optimization, outsourcing business models, and related technologies.
  • Proven experience in selling solutions through a consultative sales approach within Government and Public Sector departments.
  • Consistent track record of sales development, generating new pipelines, and effectively managing relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Specialized experience within the Public Sector.
  • Strong understanding of public IT architectures, workflows, and processes, including the pain points and needs of public institutions.
  • Expertise in public procurement processes, buying entities, agencies, and related structures to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships that contribute to business success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Proven success in closing deals ranging from €2-5 million ACV or higher, reflecting a strategic approach to sales.
