Business Development Manager - A&D Industry

Company Introduction:

With locations in West Hollywood, New York and their new London Pimlico showroom, it is a great time to join a fast growing and dynamic company.
Position summary:
The position will oversee sales growth within the A&D community, concentrating on fostering strong connections with clients in London/surrounding home counties and Europe. In this capacity, the successful candidate will contribute to the expansion of a fast growing boutique brand, collaborating with a dedicated and strategic team. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in advancing territory sales by utilising sales prospects, enhancing current business relationships, and establishing new and long lasting connections through exemplary customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with the A&D community to generate new business opportunities.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships to foster repeat and referral business, aligning with long-term sales objectives.
- Engage in frequent travel, accounting for over 50% of your working hours, to fulfil business expansion
- Arrange product presentations for design firms, conducting client meetings in both showroom settings and designers’ offices to educate them about their product range and tailored services.
- Contribute to their expanding market presence within designated territories across the UK, adhering to company guidelines.
- Exceed monthly sales targets individually, while also representing the company at various industry events.
Skills / Requirements:
- Degree (B.A. / B.S.) preferably in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in luxury sales within A&D industry with a proven track record
- Excellent communication and networking skill
- Strong existing relationships within A&D community
- Experience in creative support and development for custom/bespoke order with clients
- Knowledge of industry trends and a natural aesthetic appreciation/ eye
- Organisational skills
- Strong multitasker
