Civica's Central Government Professional Services Division is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with active DV clearance to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with a Ministry of Defence (MOD) client, managing secure cloud infrastructure for critical national defence projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Build, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud environments, ensuring high security and performance standards.
  • Automation & Optimization: Develop automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions align with MOD security policies.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside architects and engineers to deliver secure, reliable cloud solutions.
  • Monitoring & Support: Implement monitoring tools, respond to incidents, and ensure system availability.


Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active DV Clearance: Required for working on sensitive MOD projects.
  • AWS Expertise: Proven experience in managing AWS cloud environments. AWS certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in cloud computing, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation tools, and containerization.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
