Reporting to the Divisional Director, the Commercial Manager will analyse and maintain pricing for all revenue streams encompassing both sell out and cost pricing.


The Commercial Manager is directly responsible for the business intelligence and analytical systems within Central Tyre.


This role will be one of the primary contacts for the key with all suppliers ensuring consistency of approach throughout the company whilst maintaining the focus on increasing margin.

The Commercial Manager is strategic thinker who is responsible for overseeing the profitability of contracts, pursuing new business opportunities and implementing the overall growth strategy alongside the Divisional Director and Head of Sales & Services.


The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Head of Operations, Head of Sales and Head of Strategic Development to ensure the protection and future of development of our business.

Location: Hybrid - working from home & national travel.

The successful candidate would be expected to travel to internal and external meetings a couple of days a week.


  • Full UK Drivers Licence- B1 (Mandatory)

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide analysis, reporting and maintain pricing data for Key Account Customers – both Indirect and Direct.
  • Providing general support to the Sales and Operations team including analysis reporting.
  • Manage budgets, pricing strategies and financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare and publish management reporting – internally and externally.
  • Alongside the Divisional Director lead the commercial terms negotiations with all key suppliers.
  • Produce monthly rebate analysis.
  • Processing Manufacturer price movements and dissemination of data relating to these changes including customer price files and retail guide pricing.
  • Prepare pricing information for tender purposes.
  • Analyse and implement other pricing for non-tyre production e. g. associated services.
  • Process weekly reports for management meetings.
  • Lead, manage and develop the skills and experience of the Commercial Analyst and stock/ordering analyst.
  • Attend senior departmental and cross-functional meetings to represent Central Tyre.
  • Perform other commercial analytical duties at the discretion of the Divisional Director.
  • Undertake project work or additional responsibilities as and when required by the Divisional Director.
  • Develop and maintain inter-departmental relations within Central Tyre and the wider ETEL Group.
  • Contribute to the long-term development of Central Tyre Brand that contributes to, and supports, the company’s strategic plan for growth.
