Key Account Associate (12-month FTC) Renewable Energy / Electric vehicle


This highly successful Electric Vehicle charging provider is looking for a Key Account Associate to join their growing Partnership team on an initial 12-month Full term contract.


This position is responsible for supporting key house accounts, and ensuring those

accounts are maintained and developed. The focus of this role is to work seamlessly with the key account lead, the client and the various departments across the business, building internal

relationships to loop in relevant expertise within the company when required, providing value to the client and harnessing the potential of the account.

What you’ll do

• Assist in implementing account strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth for key

accounts.

• Collaborate with the account lead to identify new opportunities for building key accounts

and generating referrals.

• Regularly report to clients and internally on key account progress, including rollout,

activations, resolutions, and opportunities.

• Produce accurate quotes for existing accounts using sales templates to ensure portfolio

companies are quoted appropriately.

• Coordinate inbound traffic from clients, identifying different areas of expertise within the team

to ensure a smooth process.

• Coordinate site surveys for key accounts and attend when necessary to gather relevant

information for project planning.

• Generate design layouts to provide clarity in project scope for key accounts.

• Participate in pipeline discussions to assist in resource planning and allocation for key

accounts.

• Manage relationships with selected delivery partners, reviewing and negotiating

installation quotes to ensure optimal terms.

• Maintain equipment specifications and up-to-date project records to ensure accuracy and

efficiency.

• Produce sales pipeline reports for key accounts to track progress and identify areas for

improvement.

• Coordinate with the account lead to provide post-sales support, ensuring smooth processes

and client satisfaction.

• Perform any other tasks as needed to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to the overall

success of the company.



About you / Knowledge & skills:

• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

• Experience of working within the electric vehicle infrastructure or motor sector is preferred.

• Experience of working within a scaleup environment would be a plus.

• Experience or willingness to be in a client facing role. Experience in a customer service role

would be advantageous.


Qualifications:

• Ideally, you will hold a Business Administration or Management degree or comparable work

experience.
