About The Role:

As Business Development Lead for Candid, you will be responsible for driving growth, expanding our client base, and fostering long-term business relationships. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support our growth.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious to join a uniquely positioned marketing agency as our first dedicated sales hire, to shape our commercial strategy as we scale.


Responsibilities & Duties:


Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure they are met.
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads to drive sales activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive brand consistency and enhance sales proposals.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trend.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, specifically within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing: Knowledge of various digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and pitches to potential clients..
  • Commercial/Negotiation skills: Competence in negotiating service led engagements
  • Relationship Building: Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
