About the opportunity


We are looking for an experienced Production Quality Specialist with experience of working in precision engineering environments such as Aerospace, Automotive or Medical Devices.


The Production Quality Specialist will be responsible for activities such as Materials Review Board (MRB), Performing Final Inspections using tools such as CMMs, Micrometres and Gauges, Reviewing Working Instructions and Rejecting Defective Parts.


You will have a Production Quality Engineering background, with a solid understanding of GD&T, Quality Inspection skills and you will have worked in a Precision Engineering – preferably in Complex Machined components.


Deliverables for the Production Quality Specialist


  • Perform Final Inspection and reject defective components


  • Contribute to the improvement of the Lean Production Systems for Production Quality


  • Act as a delegate to the Materials Review Board (MRB)


Person Requirements

  • Previous experience in Production Quality Engineering environment within Precision Engineering – Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices etc.


  • Production Quality Inspection experience using tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines, Micrometres, Gauges etc.


  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge
