Our Financial Services client is looking to bring in a Testing and Quality Assurance Lead to look after their team in Sheffield.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a Testing strategy and ensure its implementation across Control-M technology
  • Determining tools and approaches for Testing per product and the automated storing of test output
  • Ensuring documented Test strategies and test plans are in place and are up to date and reflective of the current position
  • Actively maintaining existing Test frameworks or help develop new ones when required.
  • Developing Tests that are predictable, repeatable and implement automated verification of acceptance criteria.
  • Introduce KPI's or metrics that evidence the success of Testing as a practise.
  • Agree appropriate hosting of any necessary Testing infrastructure or software


Skills Required

  • Testing background in a fast paced IT environment
  • Strategic planning
  • Automation tooling
  • Experience of different types of testing, eg, unit, performance, regression
  • Experience of evaluating the success of implementing testing strategies
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in English language speaking and writing skills required.
  • Experience of working with global team across geographies and cultures
  • Understanding of workload automation or scheduling tooling
  • Understanding of Managed File Transfer systems is a bonus
