Network HR have been retained by a high touch marketing & communications firms to recruit their VP of Human Resources to support their growing London office. A US headquartered multinational, this organisation have achieved some significant growth and reached an inflection point where they now require some experienced, dedicated local HR support to work with the ExCo, and partner with US HR colleagues to design and deliver a People and Culture plan which prioritises growth, performance and outstanding employee experience.


The VP will report to the HR senior leadership team in the US and will be responsible for the effective and consistent implementation of processes and procedures across the office. Most importantly, this is a “people-first” role. The VP will be spending a lot of time with employees and senior management to ensure they feel great about their experience.


This role would be ideal for an experienced HR professional with B2B agency/professional services experience. If you've worked in the absence of a COE which has required you to flex your generalist HR muscles this would also set you up for success. You'll need to be hands-on by don't worry, you'll have admin support to allow you to prioritise the tactical and strategic elements.


Culturally, they have some creative, extroverted personalities. Big brains, lots of ideas and they really do work at a fast pace. This is balanced nicely with an experienced and mature leadership team, so they've been able to maintain their entrepreneurial spirit with a high degree of professional rigour. They have a grown-up and trusting culture where leaders are empowered, and any emerging issues are put to bed early so nothing is left to fester.

Requirements:

  • Experienced HR Generalist with c. 10-15 years experience
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential matters
  • Experience with performance management and handling employee relations issues
  • Demonstrated track record of attracting and retaining top talent
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘no job is too big or too small’ mentality
