Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Payroll Operations Specialist to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. You will be ensuring that all payments and deductions are paid accurately and on time. We have many reconciliation processes to ensure we pay and report correctly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertaking Payroll operations and all associated activities
  • Ensure all appropriate legislative, regulatory and internal process and procedure knowledge is developed and maintained within the team, identifying, reporting and resolving any breaches
  • Using yourin depth knowledge of all retirement products and payment services, along with end to end processes
  • Supporting in user testing and monitoring the implementation of changes involving Payroll systems or processes, to help safeguard the continuation of accurate and timely payments and reporting
  • Providingknowledge and support for projects (system, process, regulatory)
  • Accurately recording workflow on the appropriate system maintaining effectiveness and perform quality checks

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Basics of processing payroll and reconciliations (essential)
  • Strong Payroll processes & software (essential)
  • Awareness of Payroll regulatory/risk (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar environment working on pension payrolls (10,000+ volume) and reconciliations of payrolls on a B2c and B2b basis
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial and technical payroll data for reconciliation and query resolution
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Planning/Organisation of payroll duties
