Job Summary

My Client is looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to drive and optimise their supply chain operations. This office-based role, located in Hemel Hempstead, is a unique opportunity to shape and improve end-to-end supply chain strategies. The Supply Chain Manager will be instrumental in overseeing logistics, maintaining stock availability for ongoing and new projects, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse, inventory, and logistics teams, including 3rd party logistics and supplier relationships.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies in line with business objectives.
  • Oversee procurement, production, inventory, and distribution to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align and support supply chain activities.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure beneficial terms.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager role or similar.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain best practices and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to high-quality service.
  • Effective collaboration skills with other departments and stakeholders.
