This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, driven and talented HR professional to join an established legal services organisation and continue to develop our current HR practices.


You'll be joining a business who are well known in the legal industry, with varied legal expertise specialise in assisting clients with personal, criminal and serious injuries and sexual assault claims. We currently have a headcount of approximately 50 staff with strong plans to grow in the upcoming months - and this is where you come into it


This is a stand-alone role - you'll be in charge of our HR department


You will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries:

  • Work closely with all staff and stakeholders to provide proactive and effective HR guidance that is legally compliant
  • Lead all employee relations matters following company guidelines and processes
  • Leading investigations, disciplinaries and grievances by providing advice throughout and supporting & note taking during the meetings
  • Be responsible for all HR administration, completed to an exceptional standard
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding and induction process for new starters
  • Create and deliver the onboarding and induction process for new starters
  • Absence monitoring and management
  • Liaise with department managers to resolve performance related issues
  • Maintain policy and services currently in place with the ability to review and update
  • Create new policies, and constantly improving and updating policies
  • Coach line managers to improve people management skills.
  • Lead all colleague recognition, reward and engagement initiatives.
