Overview:


Talent Drive are pleased to be partnering with a globally renowned retailer, who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager who will be accountable for leading on the end-to-end procurement activity for Software.


This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Global Procurement Team, tasked with managing and advancing the supplier contract portfolio. Working closely alongside business stakeholders, you will strategically align contracts with upcoming initiatives, reinforcing the company’s position as a pioneer in delivering cutting-edge retail technology products and services.


What the role involves:


  • Manage and leading the end-to-end procurement process across Opex and Capex projects
  • Software sourcing & category management
  • Be influential at all levels and develop strong working relationships to help deliver category plans aligned to the business’s procurement strategy.
  • Actively minimise costs through improved use of tools, processes and application of best practice.
  • Driving competition through running robust end-to-end tenders and negotiations.
  • Implement and lead on robust supplier relationship management processes, including consistent management of contracts from award to implementation and ongoing performance reviews.


The person we hope to find:


  • 5 Years procurement experience
  • Experience managing software contracts
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience running sourcing events
  • Supplier relationship management experience
  • Category planning skills, capability to implement and execute strategies
  • Capability to lead complex large-scale projects
  • Contract management experience
  • CIPS Level 4 (desirable)
