Job Role: Insurance Manager
Location: New Milton
Hours: 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday
As an Insurance Manager, you will be contributing to well respected and trusted insurance broker with a friendly and dedicated team, that provides cover for properties, large and small.
- Providing customer centric insurance products for the client’s clients
- Ensuring all enquiries dealt with in a professional and timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with FCA requirements
Main Purpose of Job
- Day to day operational management of a team of Account Executives
- Coaching, mentoring and performance monitoring of your direct reports to ensure customer centric service delivery
- Liaising with clients, brokers, and insurers in the administration of contracts of insurance
- Preparing and issuing new business & renewal terms
- Ownership and handling of consumer and commercial property claims in accordance with FCA requirements and authority levels
- Ensuring stakeholders are regularly engaged and updated with claims information
- Dealing with client queries via multiple channels – e.g. email, telephone, post – in a timely and professional manner
- Provide a superior service to all internal and external customers of Knight Square Insurance Services Ltd
- Support Knight Square Insurance Services Ltd.'s strategic and operational goals
Position in Organisation
This role reports into the Head of Insurance and has a team of up to 3 direct reports and 12 indirect reports , depend on the operational division.
Qualifications
- Preferably educated to A ‘Level standard, but as a minimum 5 ‘C’ grade or above GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Math's
Experience
- Significant experience of working within a property insurance operation either for an insurance company or broker
- Extensive knowledge of property insurance (commercial and consumer)
- Extensive customer service experience
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comprehensive knowledge of FCA obligations relevant to insurance provision
- People management experience
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure and to tight timelines
