Our client is one of the iGaming industry’s most recognisable and well respected providers of online casino games. They hold high market share within the UK, supplying leading operators such as Entain, Bet365, Sky Vegas and William Hill. In addition, their innovative slot games are distributed internationally across Europe, North America and LATAM regions. They are now looking to recruit a Head of Commercial Performance to support the CCO. Applicants with commercial and data analysis experience within online casino, from either B2C operators or B2B providers are welcomed.


Role


This is a key position within our client, and you will work with stakeholders across commercial, finance and legal. You will work closely with the CCO and commercial team to develop and implement the commercial performance strategy including:


  • Royalty revenue optimisation
  • Cost of sales management
  • Profitability analysis


Other responsibilities include:


  • Optimise the monthly analytics framework to track and analyse KPI’s across all revenue streams.
  • Planning and coordination of key commercial initiatives including licensee growth plans and cost optimisation.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and risks, working with the team to provide actionable insights to drive decision making, performance and continuous improvement.
  • Work with Legal Department on Heads of terms, new operator contracts and operator renewals.
  • Lead the handover process for new operators / markets to both finance and commercial account management teams.
  • Collaborate with other teams including legal, finance and product to align commercial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments and regulatory changes to inform decision making and risk mitigation.
  • Represent the company at industry events client meetings and in partner relationships
  • Other third-party coordination – including aggregators and brand partners.
  • Working closely with the Finance Director and wider finance team to support their activities on:
  • commercial modelling for new operators and renewals
  • month end revenue reconciliation
  • quarterly brand IP
  • Invoice queries and escalations to commercial / operators


Requirements and Skills


To be considered you must have experience in online casino, either from a B2B supplier or working for a B2C casino. You will have an excellent blend of commercial experience, aligned with high level analytical skills so that you can form commercial strategy based on actionable insights.


  • Proven experience in both commercial and data analytics.
  • Experience in a relevant role working for either a B2C online casino operator or a B2B iGaming provider.
  • Personable, organised and commercially minded.
  • Able to work independently but also strong on coordinating teams and leading cross department projects & initiatives.
  • Highly numerate and able to both read, interpret and develop Excel spreadsheets to identify data trends and opportunities.
