As Retail Manager, your primary focus will be on leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in the UK market. You’ll empower your team, providing the guidance and support they need to reach their full potential. By fostering a positive, collaborative environment, you’ll cultivate a culture of excellence that drives both individual and team success.
In addition to leadership, you will play a key role in implementing innovative point-of-sale solutions to achieve sales targets and elevate the customer experience. You’ll collaborate with store contacts to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies, merchandising, and product displays. By blending your leadership expertise with creative business solutions, you’ll ensure the brand continues to thrive in a competitive retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Success: Lead the execution of the UK sales strategy to exceed targets by analysing data, identifying opportunities, and tracking KPIs in key areas, including NPD and hero products.
- Empower and Develop the Team: Provide regular feedback, guidance, and coaching to your team, ensuring they meet business goals and continuously grow through development opportunities.
- Operational Leadership: Manage key operational areas such as scheduling, and the execution of visual merchandising, ensuring efficiency, brand alignment, and exceptional in-store experiences. Resolve operational challenges swiftly to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
- Talent Acquisition and Team Cohesion: Lead the recruitment of top talent, ensuring the right team is in place to meet business objectives. Cultivate a supportive, positive environment where every team member feels valued, empowered, and motivated.
- Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the Training team to align development strategies with business goals, ensuring that the team continuously elevates their skills and performance.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience managing multiple retail accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in the beauty industry, especially in Makeup and Skincare
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and inspire teams
- Excellent communication skills, confident in presenting to both internal and external stakeholders
- Natural problem-solver who thrives under pressure and can juggle multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Flexible, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Willingness to travel across the UK as needed
Desirable:
- Experience in the Premium Beauty industry
- Knowledge of national department store chains and working with large-scale retailers
