Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) - Senior Consultant


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery of a variety of TPRM consulting engagements.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships with stakeholders up to c-suite level.
  • Design and deliver TPRM frameworks and associated solutions.
  • Manage current state assessments and deliver gap analysis and reporting.
  • Design comprehensive TPRM operating models and provide expertise regarding implementation.
  • Perform comprehensive system/process assessments and provide expert analysis and guidance.
  • Lead business process design activity, implementation planning, and analysis.
  • Manage TPRM remediation programmes and projects.
  • Build business pipeline


Team Objectives

  • Provide coaching and guidance for junior colleagues and contribute training materials and knowledge sharing with the wider team.
  • May lead small teams of consultants.
  • Lead internal improvement initiatives as required.
  • Participate in internal processes such as recruitment activities.


Key Skills and Experience

A minimum of 6 years’ experience working in third-party risk management disciplines.

  • Experience of supporting a TPRM function in a fast-paced environment (industry or consulting)
  • Extensive knowledge of outsourcing and TPRM regulations (e.g. PRA, EBA and FCA).
  • End-to-end experience of a variety of TPRM consulting engagements.
  • In-depth knowledge of TPRM lifecycle and assessment lifecycle.
  • Practical experience of TPRM framework design and implementation and solutions to support.
  • Ability to address risk utilising standardised and consistent methodology.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with equal success.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and leading projects where scope and stakeholder landscape are not always clear.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills up to executive level.
  • Strong customer facing verbal and written communication skills.


Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge and experience utilising industry standard tools, techniques, and systems.
  • A consultancy background is not required, but a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a range of clients is key.
