Offshore Consent Advisor required for a major offshore wind developer based in Scotland

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering defined work packages to support the offshore elements of the DCO and Marine Licences for the project
  • Reviewing the deliverables of the offshore consultants in the responsible areas as required
  • Utilising and administering QA processes, tracking and monitoring processes for the offshore deliverables on the project.
  • Ensure strong cooperation within the offshore team for all offshore packages
  • Contractor and budget management for relevant scopes of work
  • Input and support Consent manager on resource needs, programme and risks in relation to the offshore elements
  • Provide updates on key show stoppers on the offshore workstreams to the Offshore Consent Lead
  • Close coordination with other project stakeholders as directed by the Consent Lead
  • Deliver buildable consent of the offshore elements of the project on time and to budget according to the programme
  • Where required contribute to project consent strategy for the offshore elements and feed to the Offshore Consent Lead
  • Support development, utilisation and implementation of tools and trackers to coordinate project deliverables
  • Take responsibility for and deliver DCO/Marine licence documents in conjunction with external and internal parties
  • Attendance at project and stakeholder meetings as required including preparation and minute taking
  • Liaise and coordinate third parties as required by the Offshore Consent Lead to facilitate application preparation, tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and coordinate preparation of internal reports
  • Undertake technical and consistency reviews of third party deliverables
