Hybrid (1-2 days in client's office in Hindlip, Worcestershire)


We are currently partnered with a public sector client focused on developing new capabilities to align with their strategic vision of maturing their data function and migrating.


They are looking for a 'Data Analyst' with strong understanding of SQL analysis, data modelling, remediation plans; someone, who can identify data feeds and master records, and work with external partners to identify processes for correction on relevant systems.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • SQL analysis – writing scripts to identify and profile data, as well as to move data as part of a data migration
  • PowerBI for analysis/visualisation preferable
  • Data modelling – need to map data structures
  • Stakeholder management/engagement for internal and external stakeholders. Defining processes and requirements (in conjunction with the Business Analyst)
  • Identify and map all data feeds into the warehouse (ETL jobs, direct application updates, etc.)
  • Profile data volumetric, then measuring and quantifying data issues.
  • Propose remediation plan for records identified as missing / inaccurate in one or other system.
  • Execute remediation plan post governance and approval


It is essential that you have been part of a team responsible for data migration and highly desirable that you have worked across government administration or public sector. Also, having previously been SC cleared or currently having an SC clearance would be beneficial.
