Key Responsibilities:


- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, with a strong focus on digitizing payroll processes and transforming payroll technologies.

- Utilize Agile Working methodology to manage multiple projects efficiently.

- Collaborate with the Head of Payroll and Pensions to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.

- Serve as the primary point of escalation for the project team, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.

- Oversee all project or change activities, including monitoring KPIs and managing resources.

- Coordinate project resources, addressing capacity constraints and acting as an escalation point when necessary.

- Take a hands-on approach, leveraging excellent technical skills to ensure successful project execution.

- Ensure that milestones and key deliverables are realistic and aligned with critical project activities.

- Identify and implement necessary policy updates during project management.

- Oversee system configuration and testing as integral parts of the project lifecycle.

- Generate and analyze reports to identify errors and provide management reporting.


Desired Skills:


- Extensive payroll knowledge, including statutory family-friendly leave, tax calculations, RTI, pension, and GL requirements.

- Proven experience in HR and payroll system configuration.

- Proficient in testing methodologies, such as automatic patches, functional testing, and scenario-based testing.

- Skilled in process mapping to optimize workflows.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing, motivating, and building rapport with others.

- Innovative and proactive mindset, committed to continuous professional development.

- Excellent time management skills, adept at managing priorities and meeting conflicting deadlines.

- Solid understanding of GDPR legislation.

- Knowledge of workforce management systems, such as rostering and online timesheets.

- Previous experience with and knowledge of PeopleXD (CoreHR).

- CIPP qualification.
