Area Sales Manager:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coatings Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sports Coatings Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and growing our business in the retail and residential market. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:


Client Engagement:

  • Approach sports coatings specialist contractors and specifiers to understand their needs.
  • Mainly work across a range of Sports Coatings products, as well as supporting with DCP products including Resin Flooring, Cementitious screeds, Dry Shakes, and concrete repair.

Business Development:

  • Identify business opportunities by approaching projects of various sizes and engaging with contractors, specifiers, applicators and end users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with construction industry specialist contractors, architects, and specifiers.

Sales and Presentation Skills:

  • Competent in MS Office systems and proficient in using CRM systems.
  • Introduce DCP products and systems, conducting product demonstrations and CPD presentations for potential clients.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to determine their needs and recommend suitable products.

Sales Targets and Deal Closure:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate effectively, and close business deals.

Financial Management:

  • Ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with agreed terms, including cash payments.
  • Prepare sales forecasts to contribute to financial planning.

Industry Awareness:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and technologies.


Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of experience in sports coatings sales or similar industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field preferred
  • Experience in Construction materials


Skills


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Construction and building materials knowledge is a plus
