Account Manager Opportunity: Where Science Meets Sales


Overview:

What You'll Do:

  • Sales Maestro: Manage direct sales to meet and exceed business objectives and customer satisfaction targets within your designated territory.
  • Customer Champion: Achieve high customer satisfaction and strong brand equity.
  • Product Ambassador: Promote our life science product portfolio across the south-west of the UK.


How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Sales Success: Achieve and surpass sales, marketing, and financial goals for relevant products and your territory.
  • Growth Driver: Execute business initiatives to boost sales and profitability in line with team goals.
  • Field Expert: Spend 75% of your time in the field, engaging with current and prospective customers.
  • Customer Liaison: Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating between customers and relevant departments, both pre- and post-sale.
  • Strategic Collaborator: Work with product managers and specialists to formulate sales strategies, marketing plans, and manage relationships with key opinion leaders.


What You Bring:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Life Sciences, ideally with a PhD and postdoc experience.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role, preferably in the life science industry.
  • Technical Know-How: Excellent technical and practical knowledge of technologies used in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to prepare, implement, and monitor business and marketing plans.
  • Industry Insight: Good working knowledge of life science practices.
