The role involves providing expert advice, support, and guidance to ensure the welfare and safety of all employees and subcontractors, ensuring all contract work adheres to health, safety, welfare, and environmental regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the HSEQ Manager, provide comprehensive HSEQ support across all business operations, including investigations into accidents and maintaining the Business Risk Register. Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System Procedures through regular site visits, updating operations on HSEQ developments, and identifying performance trends. Develop and implement HSEQ campaigns, liaise with the Training Department to integrate HSEQ issues into training, and monitor the effectiveness of HSEQ plans. Support new operations, develop management systems, and liaise with clients on HSEQ policies, while mentoring staff on continuous HSEQ improvements.


Qualifications/Experience

It will be advantageous if you possess previous HSEQ experience, and hold NEBOSH general certificate in occupational safety and health and graduate IOSH Membership with full CPD. Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft Office, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop new skills, work on own initiative, meet company deadlines, and collaborate across departments and projects.
