The Bidding and Client Services Manager will be critical in leading pre-sales client interactions and overseeing the bidding process. This position is designed for a candidate who excels in consultative sales and thoroughly understands UK and international market research fieldwork. The role requires a hands-on approach to guide the bidding team and drive revenue growth by delivering tailored research solutions that align with the needs and objectives of our diverse client base.
What you’ll be doing
Client engagement and strategic sales
• You will act as the primary point of contact for key client interactions, fostering strong relationships and understanding their particular needs to propose the most effective solutions.
• You will employ consultative sales techniques to guide and influence client decisions towards optimal research outcomes.
Bid management and support
• You will lead and actively participate in the preparation of bids, ensuring they are aligned with both client goals and FieldworkHub’s capabilities.
• You will work closely with the bidding team, ensuring all members are working efficiently and are motivated to achieve revenue targets.
Global market insight and client advice
• Based on a strong grasp of global research markets and cultural differences between countries, you will be able to enhance client proposals across a range of industries , including healthcare, B2B, consumer and technology.
• You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering solutions that are informed by an acute understanding of qualitative research.
Revenue goals and team leadership:
• You will collaborate closely with the directors to set, pursue and achieve quarterly sales and profit goals.
• You will help nurture a culture of supportive teamwork focused on high performance and continuous improvement.
Marketing and Outreach:
• You will work with the marketing team to communicate FieldworkHub’ s successes, capabilities, and insights through various channels to enhance brand visibility and market presence. What you’ll bring
• A proven track record in market research/consumer insights fieldwork with some management experience.
• Extensive understanding of the market research industry, the dynamics at play and the positioning of key competitors.
• Experience of developing client and supplier relationships and a passion to establish FieldworkHub as a market leader in research services.
• An entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to think creatively and produce out-of-the-box ideas and solutions.
• Strong organisational and communication skills. Someone who pays strong attention to detail and demonstrates excellent time management skills.
• An adaptable approach, being comfortable working in various industries, projects, and with different research methodologies.

Working arrangement
FieldworkHub currently operates a hybrid working environment with 3 days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) in the office and 2 days per week at home (Tuesdays and Fridays). The office is located at 45 Beech Street, London EC2Y 8AD.
