What will you do as an Academic Mentor?

  • Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across science related subjects - dependant on your subject speciality
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
  • Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
  • Must be a team player
