We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our client as their Head of Business Design Authority (BDA).

Servicing the Executive and Leadership Teams as your key stakeholders, this role provides a great opportunity to add value to the organisation by establishing and developing the function and services of the BDA. The post holder will play a pivotal role in driving improved impact, performance, and value across the organisation.


The Opportunity:

  • Creating, documenting, and maintaining the Operating Model and roadmap to ensure ongoing alignment with the development of overarching Strategy, and intermediate Strategic Plans.
  • Being the ‘custodian’ of the Operating Model, including providing expertise on the business impact of proposed investments via the Investment Group and the Change Group, plus support on the design, testing, and implementation of proposals.
  • Working closely with the Head of the Programme and Project Management Centre of Excellence to ensure the full range of BDA and PPM related services are available from the CPO.
  • Engage with Executive and Leadership Teams to drive organisational success.


The Candidate:

  • Demonstrable BDA leadership experience.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering and cross-business roles.
  • Knowledge of systems theory and practice.
