The Business

One of the UKs leading energy brokers providing both private and public sector organisations such as shopping centres, hotels and retail units with high quality advice with their utility contracts.


The Job

You will join the Account Management Team made up of 15 other Graduate Account Managers. This is a fast-paced, hands on role working directly with customers and creates an interesting mix of numerate, technical and customer-facing work which can be highly satisfying for the right candidate.


The role can be based from home 2-3 days per week after probation and training period.


Key tasks include:

  • Meeting with clients to understand their portfolio and utility needs
  • Meeting with utility suppliers to improve relationships and learn about new products
  • Analysing energy and cost data to help customers save money
  • Producing ad-hoc reports for customers
  • Calculating tenant recharge information for landlords
  • Being the first point of contact for our clients and resolving ad-hoc queries

This is a hybrid working model split between the office in Yate, Bristol and remote working.


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in either a numerate engineering or science-based discipline
  • High quality numeracy skills
  • Enjoy using excel
  • Technically/analytically minded
  • Efficient with their time
  • ‘People person’ - not afraid to answer the phone and embrace responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic flexible and hard-working approach
  • Great attention to detail combined with first-rate organisational skills and a passion for accuracy
  • High level of computer literacy especially in MS Excel
  • Eager to learn the workings of a complex industry and develop new skills
