This is a highly collaborative role, with key areas of oversight and input being the development of a new business pursuit plan, win strategies, win themes and penetration plans. Key to this will be sales and relationship management & facilitating the progression of must-win, strategic deals. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and potential new Industry partnerships.Proven ability in building relationships with new clients, understanding their business drivers, partnering with new clients to address their needs and positioning Emerson Systems proposals to address their particular challenges and ultimately make clients more successful.Liaise across internal Business Units to further develop pursuit strategies for wider Emerson play but also allow access to non SYSS accounts.Vigorously represent, promote and position Emerson SYSS within our served industries.Actively participating in networking opportunities such as governing bodies, industry conferences and events. Actively and productively utilize the available sales and support processes, including Solution Selling, Account Plans, CRM ( Customer Relationship Management system), sales negotiation and presentations Involvement in post pursuit analysis and review; making recommendations for process improvements.Liaise with SYSS proposal teams to lead customer opportunities within the regionAccurately Manage 'Area new business plan', regional forecasting and booking data for SYSS throughout the fiscal year.Develop a strong understanding of Emerson's products, the competition in the industry and positioning to maximise successWho You Are:The successful candidate will have substantial experience in proactive business development within Systems and be motivated by winning strategic deals.
