Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Pursuits Manager to join their Bristol or Edinburgh office on a 12 month FTC basis. The role involves educating people from across the business in the power of Pursuits activity. This will include influencing and upskilling legal professionals on active opportunities and working closely with business professionals on how they can contribute expertise - everything from pricing and financials through to responsible business and social value.

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead and chair kick-off meetings, managing the full pursuit process from proposition to production.
  • Identify risks and challenges early, providing proactive, solutions-focused responses.
  • Evaluate and qualify opportunities using a commercial go/no-go framework, aligning with firm strategy.
  • Promote cross-departmental collaboration and involve subject matter experts where beneficial.
  • Oversee pursuit planning, competitor analysis, stakeholder engagement, and future opportunity spotting.
  • Manage day-to-day operational pursuit activity, ensuring high-quality submissions and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored content for both public and private sector clients, driving best-practice approaches.
  • Foster a supportive, growth-oriented team culture through coaching, feedback, and development initiatives.
