Job DescriptionContracts Manager / Building Surveyor Opportunity – South England Your new company You will work for a large housing provider who believes that everybody has the right to a warm, safe, high-quality, and sustainable home. This means that your new employer is investing over £600m into existing home improvements over the next 10 years – ensuring homes are safe and efficient. As an experienced contract management professional, you will work regionally across a tight geographic patch. Your new role You will be responsible for the specification, procurement, management, and delivery of a variety of externally-led contracts as part of a wider planned programme of works. Specify, produce, and manage programmes of work for cyclical compliance requirements. Ensure that work packages are comprehensive in terms of scope, specification, and quality standards. Ensure that all work is procured and undertaken in accordance with CDM and all other health & safety requirements. Maintain strict financial control of budget lines applicable to your role. Carry out inspections to ensure that all works are delivered in accordance with agreed specification and quality standards. What you'll need to succeed Qualified to HNC level in a building related discipline, OR, have experience of working in a similar role with a housing association or contractor. Knowledge of relevant statutory obligations related to the construction industry. Full driving licence.
