We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Assistant to become part of our warm and welcoming team at CherryBrook Day Nursery.Nursery Assistant - 42.5 hours per weekMonday - Friday, All year round - Salary up to 26,984.10 per annum depending on qualfiications and expeirence.Our Nursery is just a short walk from West Byfleet train station, making it easily accessible for families. As Nursery Assistant, you will:\tEnsure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times\tUnderstand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios\tProvide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development\tFacilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent\tObserve and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt\tProvide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional developmentWe are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts.
